Copper Bangle Making Workshop

Audience: Teens & Adults (Beginners welcome)

Course Overview:
Discover the joy of metalwork in this hands-on workshop where participants design and craft their own copper bangle. Learn basic metalworking techniques, including shaping, texturing, and finishing, to create a unique piece of wearable art.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, students will be able to:

• Understand the properties of copper and safe handling techniques

• Measure, cut, and shape copper into a bangle

• Apply texturing techniques to create personalized designs

• Smooth and finish their bangle to a professional standard

• Wear or gift their handmade copper bangle

Materials Provided:

• Copper sheets or strips

• Jeweller’s tools (hammers, mallets, mandrels, files, pliers)

• Texturing tools (stamps, rollers)

• Polishing materials

• Safety equipment (gloves, goggles)

Outcome:
Each participant leaves with a custom-made copper bangle and a set of beginner metalworking skills to continue exploring jewellery making.
